Traffic restrictions will be lifted beginning today and continuing through the weekend in the work area of a Cranberry Township road project.
Daily single lane closures both northbound and southbound have been in place on Route 19 between Thorn Hill Road and Warrendale Bayne Road from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This is allowing for crews to work on the new bridge pier that carries the PA Turnpike over Route 19.
Motorists are advised to continue to use caution and obey posted speed limits when traveling through the area even though the restrictions have been temporarily lifted. The work and restrictions will resume on December 1st with an estimated date of completion of December 23rd.
