Pennsylvania Senator Pat Toomey says it’s “completely unacceptable” for President Donald Trump to push state lawmakers to overturn election results.
The Republican Toomey told the Philadelphia Inquirer yesterday that the President “should give up trying to get legislatures to overturn the results of the elections in their respective states.”
Toomey also said that he spoke with President-elect Joe Biden and they had a very pleasant conversation.
Trump reportedly spoke to Pennsylvania’s Speaker of the House earlier this week encouraging him to overturn the state’s election results.
