A senior at Seneca Valley School District is a semi-finalist for a national scholarship that could give her $20,000 to her college education.
Cierra Denny has made it to the next round in the Coca-Cola Scholars Program.
She will have to complete the next application which includes essays, a recommendation, and a transcript.
Denny will have to wait until January to see if she makes into the regional finals. Then an independent committee will award a scholarship to 150 winners nationwide.
