The Honda Motor Company has issued a safety recall for about 1.4 million vehicles in the United States.
One recall is for nearly 300,000 2002-2006 CR-V vehicles for a power window master switch issue. No injuries have been reported in connection with this issue but 16 fires have occurred as a result.
The second recall is for over 700,000 2018-2020 Accord and Insight vehicles to update the Body Control Module software. This issue could disrupt communication triggering warning lights and electronic malfunctions.
The third recall is for over 400,000 vehicles that could be in danger of a broken drive shaft due to corrosion from road salt. No crashes or injuries have been reported as a result of this issue.
