A local business is taking precautions after a couple of employees gave notification that they tested positive for COVID-19.
A member of the Starbucks Media Relations team told our newsroom that two partners at the Butler Crossing Plaza store, also known as employees, recently notified the company about the positive diagnosis.
As a result, the store was immediately shut down on Monday and remained closed on Tuesday in accordance with the protocols the company has in place to deal with the situation.
The store is undergoing a deep clean and is scheduled to reopen on Wednesday. The store will be staffed by employees who did not work in close contact with the infected individuals.
