The South Butler Library held their annual fundraising drive over the last few months, but a surprise donation has added more to that total.
PennEnergy Resources told library officials they would match donations throughout the drive, which led to more contributions according to the library.
But at the end of the drive, PennEnergy Resources donated a full $10,000 to the library.
The South Butler Library remains closed due to the pandemic, but they are offering a number of virtual activities which can be found at SouthButlerLibrary.org.
