A Mercer County man will face charges in connection to allegedly failing to pay taxes on income received from his roofing business.
According to the U.S. Department of Justice, 35-year-old Dustin Golub of Hermitage entered a guilty plea in federal court to a charge of tax evasion.
An IRS criminal investigation determined that during 2016, 2017, and 2018 Golub intentionally failed to report nearly $3.8 million in revenue from his business Penn Ohio Roofing and Siding. Golub is accused of not paying over $438,000 in federal tax.
Sentencing will take place July 29th and Golub could face up to five years in prison, a fine of $250,000, or both. Golub has been released on $25,000 bond.
