A member of Armstrong’s programming team recently received an award for his work on a local TV show.
Matt Lutz was recognized with a Telly Award for his work as a producer on the show Up Fur Adoption, which showcases animals at the Humane Society who are searching for homes.
This was the 11th time Lutz won a Telly Award, but he says the honor is grown in importance to him.
“The reason that this one is special is that the Telly Awards have blown up. They have 50 percent more entries year-after-year over the last several years, it’s now an international award too,” Lutz said. “They receive 12,000 submissions from continents all over the planet, so you’re putting yourself against very talented video professionals.”
“Up Fur Adoption” can be seen on the Armstrong Neighborhood Channel.
