A Callery man is facing charges following a domestic incident last week that included a minor injury to a police officer.
According to a criminal complaint filed by the Adams Township Police Department, officers were dispatched around 10:30 p.m. Friday for a disturbance in the 300 block of Main Street Extension.
An intoxicated man identified as 49-year-old Jason Luna asked that his girlfriend be removed from the house. Officers responded to find multiple fresh injuries to the girlfriend who told police that the conflict began when she would not let him have another shot of alcohol.
Luna was placed under arrest and put into the back of a patrol vehicle where he allegedly began screaming and kicking the car door window. When an officer opened the door to get him to stop, Luna is accused of kicking the door which scratched the officer on the arm.
Luna has been charged with felony assault as well as misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after officers found marijuana pipes, bongs, and a grinder in his residence.
