Butler Township is taking the next step toward filling a new administrative position.
At their meeting Wednesday, Township Commissioners authorized the advertising for a Director of Emergency Services. The salary will be negotiable based on experience.
This person will provide oversight for the Butler Township Volunteer Fire Department as well as perform the duties of Fire Marshal. This person will report directly to the Township Manager with a Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of experience in fire service required.
This job will be posted for two weeks with interviews to follow for another three weeks to a month. This position is expected to be filled sometime in November.
