Robert J. Houllion, age 86, of Renfrew, passed away Monday, September 20, at his residence.
Born March 25, 1935 in Butler, Bob was a son of the late George E. and Irene Grossi Houllion.
He was employed as a sheet and metal worker at Magnetics and retired in 1999. He also worked at Butler Country Club for 35 years and at Kelly Chevrolet.
A 1953 graduate of Butler High School, Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was a member of All Saints Parish — Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church and the French and Belgium Club.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sally Anne Napora Houllion, whom he married March 27, 1961; four children, Jeffrey R. Houllion, of Mt. Lebanon, Shelley G. Duffy-Alexander and her husband, Paul, of Mt. Lebanon, Jennifer A. Cadamore and her husband, Brian, of Cabot, and Rebecca Jo Houllion, of Renfrew; eight grandchildren, Alexandra Duffy, Sarah Duffy, Robert Houllion, Jessica Houllion, Rachel Houllion, John Cadamore and his wife, Andrea, Matthew Cadamore and his wife, Meghan, and Benjamin Cadamore and his girlfriend, Quinn Hughes; three great-grandchildren, Evelyn, Francine “Frankie”, and Ivy; and one sister, Joanne McCracken, of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, George Houllion, and one sister, Helen “Toots” Laurent.
Friends will be received on Friday from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. at All Saints Parish, Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 432 Center Avenue, Butler.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m., with Reverend Kevin C. Fazio, pastor, officiating.
Inurnment will take place in Saint Michael’s Cemetery.
