John T. “Jack” Janicki

John T. “Jack” Janicki, 80, of Butler passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021. He was born in Butler on August 6, 1941 to the late Theodore and Helen (Namesnick) Janicki. John “JJ” retired from Armco after 43 years of employment. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and crossword puzzles. John also judged and competed in field trials with his Labrador Retrievers. Above all else he enjoyed time with his family and grandchildren. John was the loving husband of Barbara (Simmers) Janicki since their marriage in 1960; father of John “Jack” (Joyce) Janicki and Jackie (Miguel) Cuadros; grandfather of Sarah, John Paul, Michaela, and Michael; and great grandfather to Alina.
