A Cabot man is facing a number of charges including a DUI, drug possession, and theft of a motor vehicle for an incident that happened last week.
Police say it all started last Wednesday night when 35-year-old Kurt Leinenbach got out of a relative’s vehicle because the driver refused to take him home. Leinenbach then stole an unlocked pickup truck from an Oakland Township home and drove it to a house in Chicora.
There, he allegedly forced his way into the home and got into a fight. Police say Leinenbach was severely injured in that fight, but fled to a parking lot in the stolen vehicle.
Police eventually found Leinenbach at his home, where they treated him for injuries. However, during that time, they found him in possession of drugs and to be under the influence.
