Governor Tom Wolf has vetoed a bill that would have seen school districts be required to post certain materials online.
The Republican-backed bill sought to have teachers post curriculum and instructional materials online before the start of the school year. Supporters of the bill said it was a matter of transparency.
Wolf meanwhile argued that schools are already required to provide parents with course curriculum and similar items if requested.
He also said this was an attempt to censor content in schools.
