Restrictions on major highways are easing as the day goes on according to PennDOT.
Officials still advise that some roadways are not in great shape, as colder temperatures can make it a little more difficult to treat.
Tier 1 restrictions were put in place for highways like I-79 and I-80 during the afternoon yesterday and lasted well into this morning.
Fortunately, there were very few reports of accidents in Butler County over the last 24 hours.
