Governor Tom Wolf is proposing a multi-billion dollar increase to the state budget.
In his final budget presentation in Harrisburg, Wolf asked lawmakers for a $4.5 billion increase, bringing the proposed total to $43.7 billion.
As expected, Wolf asked for more funding toward education, a rise in the minimum wage, and to use more federal relief money that is currently in the state’s coffers.
He also said the budget doesn’t raise any taxes, and he also advocated for a corporate tax cut.
