A student in the Moniteau School District is facing disciplinary action after a threat was made last night.
According to a letter from the superintendent sent to parents, the district received an alert about a threat of violence at the Moniteau Junior/Senior High School for today.
School and state police conducted an investigation and identified the student.
The district says state police were at the school this morning for student drop-off in order to provide additional support.
The district superintendent also thanked those in the community for quick and decisive action in reporting the threat.
