A longtime downtown car dealer has been sold.
Butler County Ford will officially become #1 Cochran after the two sides reached an agreement earlier this month.
The dealership has been at the corner of Main and Wayne in downtown Butler for more than 100 years. Since 1926—it’s been owned by the family of Cathy Glasgow, who is the current president.
She says that customers will not notice any major differences.
“Everything is the same. It’s a Ford dealership and all the employees will all be here, if they choose to be. Which I hope they do,” Glasgow said. “Cochran is a tremendous organization and can offer many opportunities.”
Glasgow says the move should be made official in the next month to six weeks.
