Richard “Dick” Neal

Richard “Dick” Neal, 89, of Zelienople passed away on Saturday, March 5th, 2022. He was born in Blacklick, PA on September 30th, 1932 and was raised by his mother & stepfather, Margaret “Peg” (Nick) Covish. Richard was a mechanical draftsman and served his country honorably with the US Army. He was a proud member of the Honor Guard and also of the Zelienople American Legion & Hungarian Club. Richard loved to golf, hunt, & fish. He was loved by his friends and family & will forever be missed. Richard was the beloved father of Richard Neal Jr. of New Castle, PA; David Neal of Barrington, IL; Robin (Vince) Milewski of Butler, PA; Jeff Neal of Panama City Beach, FL & Amy Shaffer of North Port, FL. He also had 7 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren. Along with his birth father, Elmer Neal, Richard was preceded in death by his brothers Russell & Earl Neal and his sister Carol Krut.
