There will be two Democrats on the ballot this spring aiming for a chance to challenge Congressman Mike Kelly in the 16th District.
Erie County businessman Daniel Pastore and Lawrence County farmer Richard Telesz are the two candidates seeking the seat.
The new 16th District will remain relatively the same, but one of the biggest changes is that Butler County will now be represented by just one member of Congress.
Kelly is seeking his 7th term in Congress, and won his last race in 2020 by nearly 20 points.
Rick Telesz is seeking the Democratic nomination for the 16th District.
