Debra Lynn Holochuk Welch, 67, of Fenelton, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, March 26th, 2022. She was born July 20th, 1954, in Butler Pennsylvania and was the daughter of the late Adam Holochuk and the late Gladys McCleary Holochuk.
Debra spent her life working as a cook in several different settings and locations. She enjoyed cooking and baking for the holidays and spending time with her family. Although she may have had a stubborn streak, she was loved by many. She had a love for animals and never found herself without a companion by her side. She enjoyed gardening throughout the summer and always ensured that her flower beds and garden were taken care of. She cherished spending time at her son’s farm and being with the sheep.
She is survived by her special friend and partner Sloan Hanson; her two very special fur babies, Sutter, and Stella; one daughter, Jennifer Vlaminck and special friend, Joseph Novak of Farmington, MN; two sons, John-Adam Day of Raymond MN: Isaac Lalim and husband, Timothy Bishop of Creekside, PA; A very special adopted daughter through marriage, Amanda Day of New London, MN; grandchildren, Emily and Elijah Vlaminck, Zachary, Logan, Lana, and Orion Day; sister, Sandy Kilgore (Bob) of Grove City, PA; brother, Keith “Butch” Holochuk; two nephews and a niece; and many loved grand fur babies.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents.
There will be no public visitation for Debra Lynn Holochuk Welch, who died Saturday March 26th, 2022, per her wishes.
