The price of natural gas is surging to numbers that haven’t been seen in nearly 15 years.
With the ongoing war in the Ukraine and cooler spring temperatures, the price of natural gas is the highest it’s been since 2008.
Yesterday, futures on natural gas rose above $8 per MMBtu. (metric million British thermal unit.) However, there was a bit of a market correction as prices settled just above $7 by close.
Overall thought, the price for natural gas is up over 90 percent since the beginning of the year.
