The Pittsburgh Pirates – Detroit Tigers game last night was rained out. They will now have a traditional doubleheader today in Detroit. Game one will begin at 1:10pm. Pre-game on WISR will be 12:45pm. Game 2 will begin a half hour after Game 1.
The Bucs will have Thursday off, then visit Cincinnati for four games over three days, with another doubleheader Saturday.
Houston Astros manager Dusty Baker became the 12th major league baseball manager to win 2,00 games in his career. He is the first Black manager to reach the career milestone.
