A public meeting in the South Butler School District that was intended to give community members a chance to weigh in on new renovations is being postponed.
The meeting was scheduled for Wednesday night inside the high school, however Superintendent Dr. David Foley says there’s been a number of people involved in the process who have contracted COVID.
“Several parents are dealing with health concerns, where people have contracted COVID and that has slowed us down. Our plan is to reschedule that meeting,” Foley said.
He also said he’s hoping to have at least three public meetings to discuss the renovations with the community; however no dates have been scheduled so far.
