The Supreme Court has decided to refer to a ruling from a lower court that will require Pennsylvania to count undated ballots.
This topic has been debated in recent weeks after Senate candidate Dave McCormick asked for mail-in ballots that were not dated to be counted in the final tally.
Initially, Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito issued a ruling putting a freeze on counting those ballots, but now the full Supreme Court has weighed-in with a majority saying they should count.
Despite dissenting, Alito wrote in his opinion that it was necessary to provide a quick ruling on the case so the election bureau’s will know how to handle the situation in November.
