A paving project is set to begin this week for a major road in Butler Township.
PennDOT officials say crews will be milling and paving Evans City Road (Route 68) this week. The work will happen in between Meridian Road and New Castle Road—which is near the end of the Point Plaza.
Most of the project will be done during the overnight—from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Drivers will see single lane restrictions during that time.
PennDOT officials say they plan to have the road milled and put the first layer of pavement down by the end of this week.
