Jobless numbers in Pennsylvania went down slightly last month.
According to the Department of Labor and Industry, the unemployment rate fell to 4.5 percent in June—which is down just one-tenths a percentage from May.
Labor officials say the numbers are starting to rival pre-pandemic unemployment rates in 2019.
The state’s non-farming jobs went up by 21,000 last month, bringing the workforce total in Pennsylvania to 5.95 million.
