A pedestrian suffered serious injuries after they were struck by a vehicle Thursday evening in Butler Township.
The accident happened just after 5 p.m. at the intersection of South Duffy Road and Evans City Road.
Butler Township Police say 35-year-old Tressa Gilley of Butler was standing on the curb of the road when she fell. During her fall she fell into a vehicle driven by 58-year-old Robert Hurd of Butler.
Gilley then went onto the road and suffered a head injury.
She was flown by medical helicopter to a Pittsburgh trauma center.
Police say the accident is still under investigation.
