Plans for the renovation of a major bridge near Kittanning will soon be on public display.
PennDOT is set to unveil the details Monday for work on the Graff Bridge Preservation Project—which is the bridge that carries Route 422 into the Kittanning area.
The project is expected to start in 2025 and cost around $9 million. During construction, the bridge will stay open with traffic will be reduced to one lane.
The bridge was built in 1974 and is named for Frank Graff, an Armstrong County Court of Common Pleas Judge who later rose to become a member of the Pennsylvania Superior Court.
