Houston replaces Purdue atop A.P. poll/Pitt receiving votes

Houston has replaced Purdue atop the latest Associated Press men’s basketball rankings. Purdue fell to #3. Pitt has received votes in the poll for the first time this season. The Panthers defeated two teams ranked in the top-25 over the past two weeks, but fell to Clemson by one point Saturday. They will visit #24-ranked Duke Wednesday.
