Butler County Commissioners Leslie Osche and Kim Geyer will be seeking another term in office.
The two Republicans announced their intentions this morning to run for third term.
In a joint press release, Geyer and Osche cited the county’s growth over the last eight years describing Butler County as “a benchmark for collaborative leadership and partnership with municipalities and business.”
“Our strong public record demonstrates our great capacity to accomplish great things through our dedicated service for the people and entities of Butler County,” Geyer said in a press release. “County government is the level of government in which we can make the greatest impact in people’s lives. I am honored to serve the people of Butler County and enhance the quality of life for our residents, businesses, and taxpayers. This is a calling for me.”
The pair also touted the infrastructure improvements in the county during that time; specifically the Route 228 project and improvements to Route 356 and Route 68.
“I have been committed to building a welcoming environment where business thrives and individuals and families connect in vibrant, safe communities,” Osche said in a press release.
Osche and Geyer currently serve with Democrat Kevin Boozel as Butler County Commissioners. Boozel announced his intentions to run for re-election last week.
