Students at a local school are collecting items to benefit the Butler County Humane Society.
A local Brownie Girl Scout Troop is holding the collection at Mars Area Elementary School.
Items being collected include: canned dog and cat food, treats, leashes, laundry detergent, garbage bags, and kitty litter. The troop will also deliver blankets and enrichment toys made by troop members.
Donations can be dropped off at the school’s main office during school hours through Wednesday, February 15th.
