While the Philadelphia Eagles may have lost the Super Bowl, it was a big winning weekend for sportsbooks in the state.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board says that $84.3 million was bet on the Super Bowl this past Sunday. That’s up 28 percent compared to last year.
Revenue was estimated around $29.7 million for casinos after payouts.
This was the fifth Super Bowl that residents could legally bet on the big game.
