The Western District of Pennsylvania has a new Acting United States Attorney.
Former First Assistant Troy Rivetti was named to the position for our local district which includes the 25 most western counties in PA.
Rivetti has spent more than 25 years in the Department of Justice. Prior to his time with the Department of Justice, he was a litigation associate for a large Pittsburgh law firm.
Rivetti will lead offices in Pittsburgh, Erie, and Johnstown staffed with nearly 120 employees. He takes over from Cindy Chung who was named to the Third Circuit Appellate Court after serving just over a year and a half.
