At least one person was injured as a result of a crash Wednesday afternoon on a busy road in Seven Fields Borough.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly after 3 p.m. for a crash between a school bus and a passenger car at the intersection of Route 228 and High Pointe Drive.
First responders from Adams Township and Callery were joined at the scene by EMS crews from Cranberry to find an injured female who needed to be taken to UPMC Cranberry for additional treatment.
The vehicles were initially blocking the roadway so traffic had to be delayed for a time until the scene was able to be cleared.
