Butler and Freeport bowlers head to state championships

The Butler and Freeport girls bowling teams advanced to the Pennsylvania State High School Championships in Erie this weekend after qualifying in the top six at the Western Regional tournament. The Butler girls join the Golden Tornado boys, along with
Alex Ekas and Luke Keene, who will be two of the 24 championship qualifiers in Singles. Butler is the only program in the state to send both programs to the high school state championships two consecutive years.
