Union workers for the Butler County government will stay on the job after reaching a tentative deal.
A spokesperson from the SEIU Local 668 Chapter says they have canceled a strike that was scheduled to start today.
Details of the deal were not revealed by the union. Workers are set to vote of the proposed agreement Thursday.
“We are very pleased that the two sides worked hard to reach a tentative agreement,” County Commissioner Leslie Osche said. “We are grateful for them working through that.”
The over 300 workers who are a part of this union include children and youth, courthouse, aging, 911, the prison, and more.
