Jon Doutt

Jon Doutt, 76, of Butler passed away on Friday March 31, 2023. He was born in Tarentum, Pa. on March 20, 1947 to the late Norman Kemp Sr. and Constance (Doutt) Seft. Jon was known for being a master gun smith, excellent machinist, and loving old Country Music. He was an accomplished musician and long time member of Pedal Steel Guitar Association, also enjoyed being a small aircraft pilot. Most recently, Jon was self employed and loved spending his spare time with his family and friends. He was loved and will be dearly missed. Jon was the father of Charyl Metzler, Jon Doutt Jr., Barbara Metzler, and Kathleen Croyle; brother of Norman Kemp Jr., Karen Shindler, Constance Kemp, and Alice Kemp. He is also survived by his previous wife Charyl Peffer, numerous grand, and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his companion Marilyn Bodesheim. Family and friends will gather at Greenlawn Cemetery on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 10 AM for burial prayers. Arrangements through SPENCER D.
