The Butler Transit Authority’s marketing and communications plan for the upcoming fiscal year will include the production of a video series targeted to answer questions of prospective new riders.
The authority plans to pay $9,000 for the production of eight to ten short videos as part of the “We’ve Got You” campaign. The videos will then be used in a variety of different ways to educate those who might be apprehensive or overwhelmed about trying public transit.
Another part of the authority’s marketing and communications plan is to increase ridership growth, brand awareness, and community connectivity through digital ads, radio ads with a new jingle, direct mailing, promotional products, and a mobile ticketing sale.
The total amount that the Authority plans on spending for marketing and communications during the 2023-24 fiscal year is just over $55,000.
