Officials say there are no public safety concerns following a train derailment in Lawrence County.
It happened around 11:20 p.m. last night in New Castle near Montgomery Avenue.
Our news partners at WPXI report that the train belongs to Norfolk Southern. Officials say there is no cause for public concern because there were no hazardous materials aboard the train. There were also no injuries in the accident.
Nine cars derailed in the accident.
