At least one person was seriously injured as a result of a motorcycle crash Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 79.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly after 1:30 p.m. for the crash near mile marker 108 northbound.
Crews from Slippery Rock were among those responding to the scene to find a motorcyclist down and unresponsive with unknown injuries.
A second ambulance arrived and transported at least one motorist to a StatMedEvac helicopter for additional treatment.
