Law enforcement has released more information about a shooting at a park and ride in Muddy Creek Township Sunday afternoon.
According to State Police, troopers were called to the park and ride located on Route 19 at Route 422 around 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
Upon arriving, police found 28-year-old Jenna Smith laying on the ground and bleeding beside a vehicle. They also discovered 31-year-old Jacob Smith in the passenger side of the vehicle, also with gunshot wounds.
These individuals were a married couple from Pulaski, Lawrence County. Both were armed with pistols and exchanged gunfire after an altercation inside the vehicle.
Despite the efforts of first responders, both motorists died at the scene.
