Slippery Rock area residents are invited to stop by a new event planned for later this week.
The Slippery Rock Business Association is presenting First Fridays featuring Bands on Bricks from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Gazebo in downtown Slippery Rock.
In addition to live music from local four-piece band Hayday, the evening will also provide the opportunity for visitors to enjoy shopping at an artisan market.
