Dorothea Mae “Dottie” Kraustok, 87, of Beaver Falls, PA, formerly of Butler, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, under the care of Beaver Valley Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
Born May 24, 1936, in Butler, PA, she was the daughter of the late Leonard L. and Margaret A. (Huselton) Dietrich.
Dottie was a graduate of Penn Twp. High School. She enjoyed and took great pride in being a homemaker. Upon her husband Bill’s retirement, they became avid flea marketers. There was nothing more she loved than to haggle with sellers and get a great deal. Dottie was truly a beautiful servant. Her smile would light up the room, and she was always willing to do anything, for anyone.
Dottie is survived by one brother, Charles (Mary Jane) Dietrich; one sister, Beverly Watkiss and her brother-in-law, Gary Tagg. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and considered a second “Mom” by many of them.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Kraustok, whom she married on June 21, 1963, and who passed away on April 13, 2017; two brothers, Leonard Dietrich, Jr., and Donald Dietrich; one sister, Connie Tagg; two sisters-in-law, both named Nancy and her brother-in-law, Bill Watkiss.
Family and friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 E. North St., Butler, PA 16001. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, June 12, 2023, at the funeral home with Russell N. “Chip” Kohser, III officiating.
Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Dottie’s honor may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 600 River Ave, Ste. 400, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
