The Butler County Prison has a new warden.
The prison board announced they have appointed Beau Sneddon of Butler to take over the top position at the prison.
Sneddon is a Knoch graduate who began his career with the Butler County Prison in 1998 as a corrections officer. Since that time he has risen through the ranks holding a number of different positions.
He was recently the Deputy Warden of Operations for the last nine years.
Sneddon replaces Joe DeMore who left for another position in Florida earlier this year.
