Slippery Rock University is being recognized for a website for its affordability.
Money.com ranked SRU as one of the “best colleges” in 2023. The website looked at the net price of a degree, loan repayment rates, and median earnings. Overall, the Rock earned four out of five stars.
SRU officials say that 75 percent of Slippery Rock students receive grants and the estimated cost of tuition for the average student receiving aid is $13,000 per year.
Over 2,400 schools were evaluated during the study according to Money.com.
