More than two dozen first responders will be recognized at an upcoming event later this month in Butler.
The Hometown Heroes Award Dinner will honor 29 individuals who are either police officers, firefighters, or emergency medical responders will be presented with a medal at the dinner.
Selections were made by various Butler County Rotary Clubs.
The dinner is set for Saturday, September 30 at the Tesla MedBed Center Ballroom, which is the former Days Inn Hotel on Route 8 South.
