An anti-corruption environmentalist group will be starting a bike tour to raise awareness on the climate crisis in Grove City this week.
The organization Pennsylvania Action on Climate will bike over 300 miles across the state to help raise awareness on policy decisions that have negative impact on the climate.
Michael Bagdes-Canning who ran for Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania for the Green Party will be doing the entire 300 miles. Bagdes-Canning wants to use this bike tour as an opportunity to show off communities impacted by the climate crisis but also highlight this is a willing decision for elected leaders.
“This is a policy decision. This is not something that just happens. These policy decisions are made and that means people are harmed so that these industries can harm the planet and also make a profit,” Bagdes-Canning.
The event kicks off Thursday in Grove City to follow the tour you can go to their X account @ActionClimatePA.
