A Dance-A-Thon will be hosted this weekend in hopes of raising money for children suffering from the war in Ukraine.
The youth of Saints Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church Christian Fellowship are sponsoring a Dance-A-Thon on Saturday October 7 from 10am to 10 pm. The goal is to raise $5,000 for the Ukrainian Cultural and Humanitarian Institute, a non-profit and non-government organization, that helps children with the trauma of living through a war.
People of all ages can help by participating, donating, and spectating. Anyone can stop by during the day to sponsor a dancer as music will be played throughout the day.
The first 300 individuals to attend will get a free highlighter with “Dance-A-Thon for Ukrainian Kids” on it.
