Butler Township is preparing to welcome a large number of residents to an upcoming Halloween event.
A Trick or Treat event at Preston Park will take place Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. weather permitting.
This gathering will include costumes, decorations, and candy, along with food and drink vendors with cooperation from the Butler County Chamber of Commerce.
Parking is different from years past with attendees encouraged to take advantage of shuttle service to and from the Butler Farm Show Grounds. Some parking for vendors and disabled visitors will be available at the park.
Children can also be dropped off at the park, if they are accompanied by an adult.
